Data controller

Brugtgrej.dk is the data controller for the personal data processed via this site.

What we collect

• Account data: email, display name, optional phone and address.
• Content you submit: ads, forum posts, images.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, device, log data.
• Cookies: see our cookie policy.

Purpose

To run the marketplace, secure the service, communicate with you, and — with your consent — show personalised ads from partners such as Google and our ad partner Adnuntius, which serves the ads on the site.

Legal basis

We process data on the basis of a contract (our terms of use), legitimate interests (operation and security) and consent (cookies for statistics and marketing).

Sharing

We share data with sub-processors (hosting, database, email) and, with your consent, with advertising partners such as Google and Adnuntius. We do not sell your personal data.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some of our providers, including Google, are US companies and may process data outside the EU/EEA. Transfers take place under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention

We retain account data for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, your profile and listings are removed, while necessary log and security data is retained for up to 3 years to prevent abuse and meet legal requirements. Inactive listings are automatically deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

When you visit a station while signed in, its owner can see your public name, callsigns and most recent visit in UTC for up to one year. This is enabled by default and can be turned off under My profile → My shack & station. Turning it off removes your named visits. Guests and visits without sharing are counted anonymously; visits before this feature was introduced have no names. Only the owner can open the visitor list. This optional community feature is based on our legitimate interest in helping station owners understand interest in their station; you can object by turning sharing off.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Contact us via Contact or at kontakt@brugtgrej.dk.
