Brugtgrej.dk is a free Danish marketplace where hobbyists can buy, sell and place wanted listings for used equipment — from amateur radio, photography and hi-fi to model hobbies, music, hunting and fishing equipment.

Our goal is to give good used equipment a new lease of life and make it easy to find exactly the gear you are looking for. The site is free for everyone to use and funded entirely by discreet ads that help us keep the service running and maintained.

Brugtgrej.dk started as a small hobby marketplace in 2001 for Danish radio amateurs and has since grown to cover a broader range of hobbies. We are still a small, independent organisation, now a partnership (I/S) run by enthusiasts — not a commercial portal.

• The engine room in Frankfurt: The heavy lifting — the database and background functions (such as the news agent, DX cluster node checks and email notifications) — is physically located in a data centre in Frankfurt, Germany. All data is therefore stored in the EU.
• Backups: The database is backed up regularly so that listings, forum posts and user data are not lost if the technology fails.
• Encrypted traffic: All communication with the site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), including when you write messages or sign in.
• Modern web app: The site is built as a modern React application and can be installed as an app on phones and computers — with a back button and push notifications, even when the browser is closed.
• Background agents: Small programs run at regular intervals to fetch new articles from amateur radio and hobby sources, check whether DX cluster nodes respond and refresh caches so you do not have to wait for data.
